Hours: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Splash Valley features a four-lane lap pool, three waterslides, two zero-depth entry pools and a “Lazy River” that pumps 228,000 gallons of water.

Note: Children ages 3 – 11 must be accompanied by an individual 16 years or older.

 

Programs: Splash Valley offers a Learn to Swim, Baby N Me: Both $34 for residents, with I.D. and $39 for non-residents.

Admission prices: Ages 2 years and under $2; youth and adults ages 3 and up $7.95 . Prices for twilight hours (after 4 p.m.) are $2 for ages 2 and under, $3.75. Groups of 25 persons or more are $5.95 per person ages 3 and up and $2 per person ages 2 and under. Season pass is $60. Non-resident prices have been dropped.

Birthday parties and Private Rental: All party packages offer access to the whole water park and a private pavilion for one hour. Fees are due for a total of 10 guests. Staff parties, day camps, youth groups, and scout groups can rent out the park or host a party at the park.T he entire park is available for rent from 8-9 pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursday;  or from 7 p.m.-9 p.m. Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Season pass to Splash Valley includes free admission to Bird Park Splash Pad. For reservations, call (815) 939-1311.

The YMCA mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.

The YMCA has two swimming pools, parent with child swim lessons, preschool swim lessons, school age swim lessons, teen swim lessons, adult swim lessons, private and adaptive swim lessons, water exercise, Kankakee Area YMCA Stringray swim team, American Red Cross Health and Safety Classes.

Monthly membership fees are as follows: Family, any two adults living in same household plus dependant children, $62; Adult, age 23 plus, $22; Young adult, ages 14-22, $18; Youth ages 0-13, $15. If the annual household income is less than $55,000 per year, membership rates will be set based on a sliding scale.

Prices: Guest passes are $20 per visit, with access to everything. 

A punch card is also available for $64 and includes 8 sessions. They offer a senior fit class from 2 - 2:45 p.m. Monday and Wednesday.

Daily rates: $3 per person for residents and $4 per person for non-residents.

Yearly rates:$5 senior citizens, $35 non-resident seniors; $55 Single, $83 non-resident single; $83 family, $108 non-resident family.

 

Note: Swim lessons are available for children and adults.

 

Bird Park Splash Pad
Kankakee

The Splash Pad in Kankakee has water cannons, fountains, buckets and sprinklers, all designed for children. It is run by the Kankakee Valley Park District.

Note: The Splash Pad is open to all ages. Children eight and younger must be accompanied by a responsible adult. It is open seven days a week, starting in June and ending in mid August. The park is not designed for swimming.

Admission: $1 per person. Sessions are noon to 7 p.m. Season pass to Splash Valley includes unlimited daily admissions to Bird Park Splash Pad. Paddle boats are also available at the park.
