The county fairgrounds is 3886 S. Route 45/52. To get there, take Interstate 57 to Exit 308 in Kankakee. Travel south approximately 1/2 mile. Call the fairgrounds at 815-932-6714.
Kankakee County Fairgrounds
The annual county fair runs from the Wednesday prior to the first Sunday in August to the first Sunday in August. The rest of the year, residents make use of the fairgrounds' banquet hall and outdoor buildings for a wide range of activities. Each year, the fairgrounds host everything from weddings to swap meets.
